Realms of NorthQuad is played with a standard fifty-two card playing deck plus the two jokers (54 cards in total).

Realms of NorthQuad combines the familiar standard card playing deck with a play strategy and game system of a fantasy collectible card game based in the Renaissance Age of Kings and Queens. Every turn you build your own Kingdom with a variety of draw strategies using the various abilities of the Kingdoms and subjects.

The standard deck represents 4 distinct Kingdoms (the suits) with each card in a given Kingdom providing a unique subject with specific abilities. As seen in other popular collectible card games, the cards have been enhanced to show unique artwork for every subject consistent with their rank and abilities in the game.

Realms of NorthQuad is a strategy card game that is played against a skilled computer opponent. The object of the game is to reduce your opponents point total (health status) to zero from a starting position of one hundred.

There are numerous achievements that can be earned while playing as well as a leveling system based on experience points to demonstrate your growing mastery of the game. With enough time and talent, you can become the top Wizard level within the game.

Online help, a rule book, and tutorials are presented throughout to help you learn the game.
